It is a wonderful tale that follows the course of Abraham Lincoln's life, the story begins with death of his mother and his vow to Henry Sturges to get his revenge on her murderers (vampires), Henry Sturges is a vampire who trains Lincoln to be the best vampire hunter. The story goes into vast detail about how Abe killed numerous vampires during his life. It follows Abraham Lincoln from the age of nine until his assassination.
This is a fascinating biographical mystical story in which Seth Grahame Smith "gathers" the undisclosed life of the late president from The Journal of Abe. The narrative is arranged to use the journal as if it was actually written by Abe, but hidden until discovered by Seth Grahame Smith; and add-on with details and pictures from Abe's life. Attractive in many ways, Grahame Smith presents a well printed "past" explanation of President Lincoln. Though be short of assumption speculate why no one disclosed the undead details, including Abe, to the general public, who should have known anyhow about the reality of vampires pressuring US for example using slave holder as followers and slaves as food.
If you are a history buff or a lover of vampire lore, then you will absolutely love this movie.
