Magnolia Pictures has now officially unveiled details about the release of Hobo with a Shotgun on DVD and Blu-ray, which will hit the store shelves on July 5, 2011. The DVD will be available for the MSRP of $26.98, while the Blu-ray will be available for the MSRP of $29.98, and the releases will feature the following extra materials:

The story is about a homeless Hobo (played by Rutger Hauer) who gets off a train in a town, hoping to buy a lawnmower to start a business. However, the town is out of control, full of corruption and violence, and it is run by a thug named Drake (played by Brian Downey) and his two sons Slick (played by Gregory Smith) and Ivan (played by Nick Bateman). Hobo gives up his dream of buying a lawnmower and instead he purchases a shotgun. Now it’s up to him to clean up this mess.
