After almost 10 years in the industry Will Young is the only Pop Idol winner with any credibility. He should be praised on sustaining to get thus far in what's turned out to be a well earned, successful career for the original reality show winner from 2002. After four studio albums he is still continue sturdy which is unusual with this competitive industry at the moment. He has worked so hard to remain at the top and his back catalogue of excellence hits proves why he is still around today.
Only some would have expected few years ago that the same man who was reluctantly hiding behind a face of a Westlife song for his primary chart topping track would still be here, several years later, after four hit CDs, stints in big screen and theatre, 4 UK no.1's and a few British for great measure, releasing his fifth studio album “ECHOES” contains thirteen tracks produced by Richard X. “ECHOES” is slated for release in the UK on August 22, 2011 through 19 Recordings, RCA, Sony BMG.
Having taken two years to record, it is surely Will's most thoughtful, possibly even most personal album so far. And, when you listen through to the Teasers/songs available from the album up to now you get the distinct feeling that topically, this is a concept album about the different phases of being in love, maybe a little we can all recount to at some point in our lives.
