I totally like The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings. It is one of the most enjoyable RPG's that I have played recently. I like the The Witcher -1 (TW1) but this one is a great follow up to that. In the first one you discovered the world of the Witcher. In the second one you are pushed into a lengthy gameplay revolving around the end of the first one.
The (TW2) begins right after the first one end. You play as Geralt, who trained from a child to be a Witcher. You have given a task of resolving order in the 4 kingdoms. You will battle against monsters, make hard choices and romance your way through one of the most attractive and outstanding RPGs ever made. All Characters look authentic, but not only the main characters let you feel believable, but it's the background and the cultures that craft the witcher's world truly a living world.
As far as gameplay is concerned, it goes for further simplistic and it certainly accomplishes something. Gone are the mouse clicks in support of a more 1:1 battle system that holds you in the clash in a more common way. Besides to the melee battle, you have symbols, which are also identified as the magic attacks. The combat menu is superior and works well. In general UI is well done.
The music score is amazing, adding to the mood and excitement of every second in the game. The voice acting is a bit improved but you still bump into the rare character who sounds a bit unnatural. However, there isn’t much to criticize on overall. The main characters sound authentic.
All in all, it's a great game. If you liked the original game, or even if you didn't, TW2 is definitely worth a try.
