Colombian bilingual singer and songwriter Shakira is back again with her 4th live album titled “Live from Paris”. The album will feature performances from the concerts like The Sun Comes Out World Tour and Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy held in France. "Antes de las Seis" was confirmed to be the first single taken from her previous album Sale el Sol, and will be released to promote the new album on October 31, 2011. Live from Paris is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 06, 2011 through Epic, Sony Music Latin.
Her music career really started when she was a teenager with folk influences. Her first pop-rock album “Pies Descalzos” was released in 1996 that made here great famed across Latin America and Spain. She released her sophomore album Donde Estan Los Ladrones in 1998, another pop-rock album that was akin to previous one but more vibrant and bold. Then she released her third album Laundry Service in 2001, that became a turning point in her career as she entered into the US and global music scene with an album that was more influenced by mainstream pop. This was a new direction for her career and many fans were unhappy about this change, but if they had looked closer, they would have seen the same stuff that was in her Spanish songs. It was just covered under haunting beats. This new style was continued in two more albums. Then her music has taken yet another direction, here latest work influenced more electro dance beats, which drawn more criticism from some die-hard fans, who Criticized that she had gave up her individual style to sell more records. However, I implore those fans to look a little deeper into the music of her previous album Sale el Sol. They will find her same old writing style, unique vocals, and Latin, Middle Eastern, and rock influences; these important factors of here music are simply accompanied by pulsing, danceable beats.
