After reaching legend standing in the early 80's with several chart topping hits and albums, Bruce Springsteen struggled to release any haunting collection of songs in the 90's. After several years break Bruce roared back in the early 20’s with a stunning album, “The Rising” that received near universal praise from music critics and turned into his best selling album of new material in one and a half decades. After a couple solo tryouts, he brought the whole E Street Band members back together for what was possibly the most successful album of 2007 “Magic”. It featured a burning Bruce railing against the direction the country has taken under George Bush and also was critically acclaimed by critics and was commercially successful. In 2009, he released his sixteenth studio album "Working on a Dream" which does not right away hit as his previous two albums The Rising and Magic did, but more listens prove that the album is more than a valuable companion to its predecessors.
Wrecking Ball will be his seventieth studio album featuring guest artists such as Willie Nile, Matt Chamberlain and Tom Morello. The first single off of the album titled “We Take Care of Our Own” was released as a promotional single. He continues to progress as a singer and a songwriter, his new track “We Take Care of Our Own” begins with throbbing drums and a guitar screaming like a siren. Those who have been listening to his music for a long time might detect a bit change in his vocal sound, as he tends to add in some more vibrato or airiness into his typically gruff delivery. The outcome is another outstanding piece of music from the best rock performer of our time.
