A film adaptation of Isaac Marion’s debut novel “Warm Bodies” is currently in production with Summit Entertainment. Jonathan Levine (50/50) will be directing the movie based on his own script, while Nicholas Hoult is slated to play the lead role of zombie R, Rob Corddry as M and Teresa Palmer as Julie Grigio. Warm Bodies is scheduled for release in theaters on February 01, 2013.
The story begins after the zombie apocalypse has ruined most of the humanity, and nothing like your typical zombie genre this is told from the perspective of a zombie, R. He wants to get away from his undead boundaries and seize the fullness of life. After he devours a brain of a teenage boy “Perry”, he begins to experience the most compelling memories of victims' life and started a strange relationship with the Perry's girlfriend, Julie. Little does he know that his extraordinary decision to guard rather than devour her sparks a change in R that will accidentally convert his fellow zombies, and their whole world.

Sounds interesting. Not sure how eating a brain can lead you to take on the memories of the previous owner. Surely all the engrams would be mushed, how do they get to his zombie brain if their in his tummy?. Anyway, wouldn't zombies eat cows and sheep, not much meat on humans.
