I See Stars produce a very smooth and silky sound, which manages to added their thoughtful and catchy lyrics. While this band is at the lighter end of the "metal" musical genre, offering a fine introduction for newcomers, they still carry the rawness, power of passion, and story telling that often distinguishes more hardcore metal. The wonderful voice of Devin Oliver blends flawlessly with the well-controlled severity of the band's screamer. Some viewers will relate the smooth electronic elegance of the sound and the choruses which offer catchy, sharp, and emotional phrases to the lyrics.
I See Stars will drop their third studio album titled Digital Renegade on March 13, 2012. Two singles "Filth Friends Unite" and "NZT48" were released from the album. Digital Renegade is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
