Adam Lambert apparently pushed himself into the public perception through the most popular TV show, American Idol. Right away he was both loved and hated by listeners. He is surrounded by critics at just about every turn, from his music selection, to his dress, to his sexuality. The good thing for him though, was that the focus was constantly on him.
Although I adored him on AI, I was bit skeptical about the sort of music he would have on his debut “For Your Entertainment”. The leaks that came prior to the CD was released did not help. Several tracks that were leaked onto the internet had poor audio quality and really didn't showcase his astounding vocal talent and how well it meshes with the music. I truly enjoy most of the tracks on that album. They are all catchy and fit every mood.
