Beach House is a two piece band hailing from Baltimore-Maryland, consists of Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand. They have been working quietly and progressively since their first self-titled record in 2006. Their last two records, Devotion and Teen Dream, are perhaps among their strongest efforts to date, filled with their signature melodies and wonderful vibes. Beach House’s sound has been compared to Cocteau Twins among others. Their music is an enjoyable listen for anyone who's into smooth indie pop with deepest, insightful lyrics.
Two years after their third effort, Teen Dream, Beach House is back with Bloom. Chris Coady produced the album with the support of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The album will drop in stores on May 15th, 2012 through Sub Pop.
