Unlike most country singers that have turned into very cliché and unsurprising with one love hit or leaving hit after another, Kenny Chesney may possess his own winning formula down but the dissimilarity is, he brings a similar kind of hits up a notch and find great hits to throw in the mix... that seem to get better on every occasion. He knows his listeners want feel good beach tunes, thoughtful hits about life, scoring, getting drunk, and school. His last album “Hemingway's Whiskey” delivers all of the above, in some instances, all at once. To his credit, though, Chesney does choose well written tracks that are comprehensive enough to paint a picture. He continues to follow Tim McGraw's direction of offering hits that deal with real life issues, at times corny - but credible and fun.
Kenny Chesney drops two singles, "Feel Like a Rock Star" (featuring Tim McGraw) and "Come Over", from his upcoming album “Welcome to the Fishbowl” and his recent Grammy nominated track “You and Tequila” will also appear on this album. “Welcome to the Fishbowl” is produced by Buddy Cannon and is slated for release on June 19, 2012 through BNA records.
