Singer Cassie Ventura is currently in the studio working on her next album “King of Hearts”, with an eye on a fall 2012 release through Bad Boy, Interscope records. The album will produce with several collaborators, including Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. “King of Hearts” was released as the lead single from her sophomore album, an electro-dance track produced by J2. She has also stated that a second single "Money on Love" featuring Nicki Minaj, will drop prior to the album.
Without doubt, most people heard her chart topping hit "Me & U". Its memorable lyrics and catchy beat have helped her to become a mainstream star unexpectedly. Although she is apparently lacking when it comes to vocal talent, she happens to bear out that there is more to her work than the simple belting of notes. Following the composition of its lead track, her record possesses mostly of memorable hooks and top-line production.
