The Killers have made themselves noticed since their first record Hot Fuss eight years ago. Since then they have been working on their sound. Each record has a sound all its own, but they always keep their fans wondering exactly what their sound is or could be.
After a nearly four-year hiatus, the Killers have returned with a new album “Battle Born”, set for release on September 18, 2012 through Island, Vertigo. The first single from the album titled Runaways was released as a promotional single. The single continues the pop-inflected style with production work that would be welcome on any pop-rock record.
The band will also embark on a world tour in support off their upcoming album. The tour dates and venues are as follows:
