Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed that Sports Champions 2, a sequel to 2010 Sports Champions video game, will hit the store shelves on October 30, 2012 for the PlayStation 3. SC 2 will have new functions such as boxing, golf, bowling, skiing, and tennis.
It is basically a series of contests among a group of modern day athlete avatars in a range of sports. You can play all of the games with the same character and your competitors are always the rest of the team. There are slight modifications for equipment and outfits. Some of the functions have upgrades that you can unlock as you progress.
It is intended to exhibit what Move can do vs. what you can do on the console with a DualShock controller and to exhibit how much better the Move turns out to be when contrasts to 'the other guys' when it comes to motion control.
