This summer season saw the release of "The Dark Knight Rises (TDKR)," the much anticipated third and final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. It was welcomed by fans and critics alike, with huge box-office success by grossing over $ 1 billion worldwide against its budget of $250 million.
The story is set eight years after the events that took place in TDK. Batman (played by Christian Bale) has gone and is now a deserter after taking the responsibility for the death of Harvey Dent. No one has seen or heard from him since then and it seems like no one will. The possibility of seeing him is even less likely when you add to the fact that city is now considered a secure place and there doesn't seem to be any reason for him to come back. That is until Bane (played by Tom Hardy), an infamous mercenary lands with lofty tasks including the destruction of Gotham.
Warner Bros. Online has recently released a trailer for TDKR, reveling that this film will arrive on home video on December 04, 2012. However, the trailer is no longer available on their YouTube channel. But in any case we know when to expect this movie to hit store shelves, just in time for the holiday season!
