"End of Watch" is an action drama film written and directed by David Ayer who wrote script for films like S.W.A.T., Training Day, The Fast and the Furious and will also be directing Arnold Schwarzenegger’s upcoming film Ten. Those police crime stories seem to be his niche because he’s real good at it.
“End of Watch” achieved huge box-office success, earning more than five times its relatively modest budget of just $7 million. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Brian Taylor, Michael Peña as Mike Zavala, Natalie Martinez as Gabby and Anna Kendrick as Janet
The film follows Officer Brian and Officer Mike guard some of LAs' toughest lanes as they go face to face with bad guys who are involved in drugs, money and weapons. Thos two work well as one and put their all into their job. As they face these tough lanes one day at a time, they also have to maintain their family lives. Obviously, this is all a routine work for your regular office, but it gets more worst for these guys once they bump into some trouble with a Mexican drug dealer.
If you missed this film in theaters, you’ll be able to see it just after the holidays as Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release End of Watch to home video formats, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download on January 22, 2013. The releases will contain the following extras:
