TED is a comedy film written and directed by newcomer Seth MacFarland, (the creator of the highly successful TV series “Family Guy and American Dad”) who also stars in the film as “John Bennett” along with Bretton Manley as Young John Bennett, Mila Kunis as Lori Collins, Joel McHale as Rex, Giovanni Ribisi as Donny Aedin Mincks as Robert, Patrick Warburton as Guy and Matt Walsh as Thomas.
With the exception of a few hiccups at the beginning of the movie, it is an enjoyable from start to finish. It tells the story of John Bennett who was a lonely little boy. No one wanted to spend time with him and he was always on his own. This was his daily routine until one Christmas when he's received a plush teddy bear as a gift, he named Ted. Later that night, lying in bed, he wished his Ted would come to alive. To his surprise, his wish ends up coming true. For the next two and a half decades, he and Ted build up a friendship that comes out to be strong. That is until other people start to interfere their lives.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release Ted on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on December 11, 2012. Extras will contain the following:
