David Towhy has a wonderful aptitude for knocking off films, yet putting enough differences in them to still kick ass. Pitch Black, as I originally thought, was an Alien rip-off, yet it was creative and bad ass, Richard B. Riddick, (Vin Diesel) that I enjoyed the movie, and is still one of my favorite movies. When I saw the sequel, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury (2004), I was just as impressed.
Universal Pictures has teamed up once again with David Towhy for the third installment of their sci-fi action film series, The Chronicles of Riddick. Vin Diesel and Karl Urban will return to reprise their respective roles as Richard B. Riddick and Lord Vaako. Other cast will include Katee Sackhoff, Jordi Mollà, Nolan Gerard Funk, Keri Hilson and Dave Batista. The film's music score will compos by Graeme Revell who has scored the previous installments in the series.
The story follows Riddick who has been left for dead on an isolated planet. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more dangerous than any one he’s bumped into. The only way to escape is to trigger an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty…
I'm really impressed with this blog. I always found it informative and up to date.
