The Twilight Saga is a series of films based on the 4 Twilight series books by Stephenie Meyer, and since the release of the first film there has been a really loyal fan base that has people following up on every installment of this very fascinating series. Those fans will get a chance to see more of their beloved characters, Bella and Edward, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 when Summit Entertainment release Deleted/ Extended Edition of the film on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download on March 02, 2013. This release will contain eight minutes of never-before-scene video chosen by the director and added back into the film, together with optional audio commentary. The DVD and Blu-ray discs will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.99 and $22.98 respectively.
"Breaking Dawn", the last book in Stephanie Myers saga is far too large to fit in a single 2 hour movie. There's enough material in the book for several films, if someone wanted to dwell on the point, so to speak. I think the director separated the story at a good spot - and obviously this is the current trend in film, to divide big stories into several installments. That may disappoint some people, but I think we'll all get used to it, in time.
