Killswitch Engage (KSE) are one of the most gifted groups today that fit into the model metal scene. They blend aggressive riffs with heartfelt vocals. With the resurrection of metal's popularity these days, there are many diverse styles or sub-genres, KSE have been distinct as one of the important "metalcore" groups. They are not for everyone. People into softer music may find them too hard and true metalheads most likely find them too soft. That's the beauty of this group though. For many of us, their hard edge supported by melody is enough to draw fans of all genres.
KSE will embark on a world tour in support of their upcoming album “Disarm the Descent”. The tour will commence on February 23, 2013 in Brisbane, Australia and will conclude on August 14, 2013 in Herford, Germany.
