Since Laura Marling dropped her highly praised debut album, Alas I Cannot Swim, in 2008, she has gradually been rising in popularity with her outstanding vocal range and thoughtful lyrics. Her second and third albums, “I Speak Because I Can” and “A Creature I Don't Know”, followed in 2010 and 2011 also received high praise.
Marling confirms that her upcoming album will be titled “Once I Was An Eagle” and is scheduled for release on May 27, 2013 through Virgin records.
