It is so hard to believe that it has been over four-decade since Rod Stewart first burst onto the music scene, and became one of the major figures in pop and rock music industry. Yet, with all his highs and lows, he has still managed to maintain a hardcore following that is sure to make happy any person who still believes he is sexy. While the past few years have brought him eminence as a crooner, due to his Songbook series, there are some fans who still want him to make more of the great pop songs.
Rod will drop a new record titled “Time” on May 7, 2013 through Capitol Records, marking his first record of new material in almost 2-decade. He wrote and produced most of the songs, and the standard edition of the album will contain twelve tracks while the deluxe edition will have additional three bonus tracks.
