Metro 2033 is one of the best FPS video games I've played in the recent past. It was dark, gritty, and extremely immersive, with a good storyline and a reasonable level of difficulty. I changed the graphics to its maximum settings for my PC and the game ran smoothly and looked stunning. Normally you are running through a dark metro passageway that doesn't give the graphics the justice it deserves. Once you are on the surface, the graphics look great. The attention to detail was remarkable and what pushed the game over the limit between good game and great one.
Two years after the release of Metro 2033, 4A Games return with a sequel titled Metro: Last Light, which is scheduled for release in the USA on May 14, 2013 by Deep Silver.
Metro: Last Light picks up right where the previous game left off. As a result of the high-level poisonous substances cities became unsuitable for living and the people are fighting each other for the remaining resources.
In Last Light, players have to face various political rulings to battle with dangerous rivals and new life forms, born by disaster and mutations.
In order to take advantage of the full graphics textures and realistic action that Metro Last Light offers, you will need a pc with the following system specs:
Windows: Vista, 7 or 8
CPU: 3.4 GHz Multi-Core e.g. Intel Core i7
RAM: 8GB
Direct X: 11
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 690 / NVIDIA Titan
For 3D Vision Support:
NVIDIA GTX 690
120Hz Monitor
NVIDIA 3D Vision kit for Windows Vista, 7 or 8
