El Macho, new villain in the upcoming animated film Despicable Me 2, the sequel to the 2010 Despicable Me, gets its first image. Little is known about the character.
It is unclear if the enemy Grundy, filled with explosives and mounted on a shark, will be the only antagonist in the film.
Directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, the film features the voices of Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Steve Cooga , Ken Jeong and Benjamin Bratt .
In the Despicable Me 2, a new agency that fights against the villains around the world comes up and this could be a new challenge for the evil Gru, who now lives a quiet peaceful life with his adopted daughters Agnes, Margo and Edith.
The film opens in theaters on July 3, 2013.
