Colbie Caillat is absolutely a singer worth listening to. What she does sets her apart from all the other similar artists at present in the music industry. While they tend to opt for histrionics, Colbie seems to reinstate simple storytelling in her music. She's got a couple of records under her belt and it's now evident she's trying to push her sound to a new level. That's what any respectable singer should do.
A new song from Colbie, entitled "When The Darkness Comes", was premiered online on Tuesday (9) and the track is now available on iTunes, and will also include in the soundtrack of the film “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” that will feature songs from artists such as Jessie J , Zedd , He Is We and Owl City.
Now that I've had a chance to listen to Colbie Caillat’s new single When The Darkness Comes enough times, my conclusion is that she's got an enjoyable track here but it’s not as memorable as her previous work.
