A Canadian dentist is dreaming of creating a clone of John Lennon, who was murdered in December 1980. Daniel Zuk paid about £ 60,000 in 2011 for a tooth of the star. He now hopes that one day creating a new "Lennon" from his DNA will be possible.
"If scientists believe it is possible to clone a mammoth, so I think John Lennon could be next, "said Zuk.
He spoke of how amazing it would be to have a small part of bringing one of the biggest rock stars back to live. "Many fans remember where they were when he was assassinated. Hopefully they also live to know about the day he was given another chance."
The dentist bought the tooth extracted in the late 60's, the son of a former maid musician.
