The first single from her new album "Prism" is titled "Roar" and will be officially released on August 12, just over a month before the album’s release date October 22.
Katy also posted a promotional video on her official Youtube channel. In which the pop star appears in the dark burning a blue wig used it in numerous times during the promotion of her previous album "Teenage Dream". At the end of the video the title and the release date of her new single are revealed.
