Eric Clapton’s live album "Unplugged" will get a deluxe edition 21 years after its release. This was one of the first programs in the "MTV Unplugged" series to be released on disc.
His success was so great - more than 10 million copies sold in the U.S. alone - which not only gave a new life into the careers of Clapton, but also initiated a series of acoustic albums, most of them were made with the record label MTV.
The commemorative edition of the album will come out on October 15th and will be a triple pack. The first disc will feature the remastered version of the original album. In the second fan will hear six songs for the first time. The third disc is a DVD, over an hour of video footage shot during rehearsals for the show.
