The Lollapalooza 2014 will feature veterans Pixies and rookie Jake Bugg among its attractions. The information was revealed by José Norberto Flesch, the Journal Destak. The other musicians who have already confirmed to join the Lollapalooza 2014 lineup are: Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Muse .
The official announcement of Lolla 2014 will take place at a press conference at the Interlagos Circuit in Sao Paulo on Thursday (10).
The Pixies are one of the leading bands in the history of alternative rock. In their first incarnation they were together between 1987 and 1992. The group returned years later in 2003, but released only few new material since then.
In their third visit to Brazil the band will come with Kim Shattuck, as the former bassist Kim Deal who decided to leave the group to join the Breeders.
Jake Bugg only 19 years old is one of the most talked about artists of the new British pop. The boy not only won the support from colleague Noel Gallagher, but also won platinum in the UK with his self titled debut album. The singer is about to release his sophomore album "Shangri La", which is set for release on November 18, 2013.
