Rihanna joined the music history this week by having a seventh number one single in the UK charts for the seventh consecutive year.
The only artists who have reached that mark for seven consecutive years were the legendary Beatles and Elvis Presley.
This was made possible due to her partnership with Eminem in "The Monster", which also marks the seventh number one single in the UK charts. This was the second time that a partnership of the two reached the top, and before "Love The Way You Lie" in 2010.
In seven years, the best selling singles of Rihanna in the UK were "Umbrella" in 2007,"Take a Bow" in 2008,"Run This Town" in 2009,"What's My Name (feat. Drake)" in 2010, "We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris)" in 2011 and "Diamonds" in 2012.
