The middle brother of the Jonas Brothers gave an interview to Vulture site that revealed many details about his personal life, including his experiences with drugs and alcohol.
Joe Jonas stated that the first time he smoked pot was in the company of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato , who encouraged him to try it.
"The first time I smoked pot was with Demi and Miley I must have been 17 or 18 years they were insisting:.... '! Try Try' Then I took a puff and it was okay I do not smoke marijuana more so frequency," he said.
The singer kept talking about his experience with drinks: "I got caught drinking when I was about 16 or 17 and I thought the world is falling down. But I was in another country and there was legal in my 21st birthday (minimum age.. alcohol consumption in the U.S.) I fell from a staircase unconscious and my team and I was terrified of someone taking a photo. Now I enjoy wine and vodka with soda at the end of the day, one time or another. "
Another issue addressed was the loss of his virginity, since the brothers gained fame for their religious origin and by using a ring of chastity early in their career. "I lost my virginity aged 20 other things I did before, but I became sexually active even at 20 I'm glad I waited the right person, it could look back and think:... 'That girl was completely mad' Glad of not have come to much."
