The band Yellowcard released a cover version of the track "Today", originally recorded by Smashing Pumpkins in 1993.
The cover features on their compilation album "Punk Goes 90's Vol 2", which also includes songs from alternative rock bands such as Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters , Green Day and Nine Inch Nails played by groups of metalcore and pop punk.
The second edition of the compilation album "Punk Goes 90" was released on Tuesday (1).
