Apparently, the Arctic Monkeys return to Brazil in October. If the arrival is confirmed, this will be the first time the band will play off to a great festival in the country.
According to journalist Lúcio Ribeiro site Popload, the Monkeys are tailoring a tour of South America and have already closed a show that should take place in October or early November in Sao Paulo. A second performance, perhaps again in Rio or São Paulo.
The last time that the band was in Brazil was in 2012, when they topped the second night of the first edition of Lollapalooza. Before that they had played in the country in late Tim Festival in 2007.
The Arctic Monkeys are going through a great moment in their career. In addition to seeing their latest album "AM" a presence in several lists of the best albums of 2013, the work has sold over 600,000 copies in Britain, and considerably increased the penetration of the band in the North American market.
