After Cee Lo Green, another member of The Voice (USA) stated that she will not return in future editions. During the last semifinal of the program, Shakira revealed to a reporter that she does not want to join the bench again.
"No, I have no plans to return, because it was always a temporary thing for me," said the Colombian. "I never thought I would be in a program like this. The fact that we are here not only judges, coaches and we are helping new talent to flourish, made me change my opinion and say 'yes' to participate."
She also added saying that amused enough and loves the other mentors and producers, but need to re-invest in my career as a singer. "I have to continue with my life as an artist. I'm Not a celebrity on TV and have a tour to prepare and stuff to do, like being a mother," she said.
The next season of The Voice will feature Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani, replacing Usher and Christina Aguilera , who is pregnant with her second child.
