The opening ceremony of the World Cup took place on Thursday (12) at the Corinthians stadium in Sao Paulo.
The event featured dance performances that highlighted the Brazilian cultural diversity. Soon after, the singer Claudia Leitte came from a LED globe which was positioned in the center singing a snippet of the song "Aquarela do Brazil".
Then the rapper Pitbull and singer Jennifer Lopez joined the Claudia to perform the official 2014 World Cup song “We Are One (Ole Ola)".
