Six years after the release of "Discipline", Janet Jackson is finally back into the music scene. In an interview with Barefoot Sound, producer Ian Cross, longtime collaborator of the singer revealed that she is working on her new album.
"The new album will be great. It's a process. There's a lot in store, yet to come. I can’t give much detail, but I think Janet Jackson’s fans will be very excited about the new album and I think people who are not fans will also be enthusiastic," said Ian.
Earlier this year, the younger sister of Michael Jackson confirmed that she is recording new material and creating the concept of her new songs. Darkchild (Rihanna , Beyoncé , Lady Gaga ), Jean Baptiste ( Madonna , Chris Brown ) and Bangladesh ( Kesha , Nicki Minaj) are some of the producers involved in the album.
Janet Jackson’s 11th studio album will hit the stores between late this year and early 2015.
