The Foo Fighters released the trailer for "Sonic Highways", documentary series that shows the process of recording the band’s eighth studio album.
The video includes a snippet of the song "Something From Nothing", which will integrate on their new album.
The series, produced by Dave Grohl, will air on the American channel HBO on October 17th, the same date that the band will release the first single from the new album.
"I believe that the environment in which you write or record an album influences the outcome of music," Grohl said in the trailer, which also features appearances from Slash, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Chuck D, Joan Jett, Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, Buddy Guy, Dan Auerbach of Black Keys. The new material from the band, containing eight tracks, will hit the stores on November 10.
