Ifrit Class

  • Ifrit: Obtained automatically during the Story.
  • Immolation: Complete the field "United Front" on Normal difficulty.
  • Rubicante: During the mission "Operation MA Demolition" in Chapter 3, complete the Special Order (SO) "Defeat with your active character Brionac as fast as you can."
  • Vulcan: During the mission "The Battle Over Yudekka" in Chapter 5, complete the SO "Defeat with your active character Mikazuchi."
  • Doom: Complete the field "Storming the Border" on Normal difficulty.
  • Ignis: Complete the mission "Battle on the Big Bridge" on Agito difficulty.

Golem Class

  • Golem: Complete the mission "Infiltration Iscah" on Normal difficulty.
  • Gigas: Complete the field "Repelling the Militesi" on Normal difficulty. 
  • Troll: Complete the field "Colonel Faith's Revolt" on Normal difficulty. 
  • Ogre: Complete the mission "Nebulized Foray" on Normal difficulty on your second playthrough.
  • Titan: Complete the Special Order (SO) "The Crystal orders you to destroy the Golem" during the mission "Machina's Fight" on your second playthrough. 
  • Dwarf Golem: Complete the field "Decisive Battle in Azurr" on Normal difficulty.

Shiva Class

  • Shiva: Complete the mission "Battle for the Togoreth Fortress" on Normal difficulty.
  • Shankara: Complete the mission "Operation Breakthrough" on your second playthrough.
  • Mini Shiva: Complete the field "Protect Cadets" on Agito difficulty. 

Odin Class

  • Odin: Complete the mission "The Battle on the Big Bridge" on Normal difficulty.
  • Odin (Chapter 1): Appears only in Chapter 1. 
  • Grimmir: Complete the mission "At Ceasefire" on Agito difficulty on your second playthrough.

Diabolos Class

  • Diabolos: Complete the field "Operation Dragon Slayer" on Normal difficulty.
  • Baalberith: During the mission "Operation Vulturnus" on your second playthrough, complete the Special Order (SO) "Inflict at least 3,500 damage to the Earth Dragon." 
  • Astaroth: Complete the field "In Mr. Dragon's Nest" on Normal difficulty. 

Bahamut Class

  • Bahamut: Complete the mission "Operation Vulturnus" on Normal difficulty on your second playthrough.
  • Neo Bahamut: Complete the field "Colonel Faith's Revolt" on Agito difficulty.
  • Zero Bahamut: Zero Bahamut appears in Chapter 2. It is not acquired by letting your characters die. It is tied to a specific story event.
