The hunt for the best equipment goes on! In The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone there again to find a powerful set of armor. This time everything is dominated by the Viper School Armor. This equipment consists of swords and armor. Here, we show you the locations of all diagrams, which materials you needed to produce them and values of vipers-armor.
Unlike other armor sets you do not have to spend time embarking on lengthy treasure hunt across the world map. You can find diagrams at certain locations in the course of the main quest, but you will need paying attention to special circumstances.
- Viper Armor, Viper Gauntlets, Viper Trousers and Viper Boots: Pay attention to the main quest "Open Sesame!" During these visits, the auction house, with the dwarf banker Vivaldi. Before you take part in the auction, you have to meet Vivaldi's friend Yaromir and fulfill the optional task. One of them is namely Baroness Mignole. Select talking to the elderly lady, the second call option to deal with her. From her you can see the diagrams for the armor, gloves, Gauntlets, Trousers and Boots, the Viper school gears - purchase each for 58 kroner. You later cannot return to the auction house! So take this chance.
- Viper Steel Sword: This diagram also you get in the main quest "Open Sesame" When you open the little chest at the end of the mission in the vault of the auction house, you can left of it also equal to plunder the open chest and you grab the diagram for the Viper steel sword.
- Viper Silver Sword: The Silver Sword of Viper school gear can be found without any preparation by diagram during the main quest "Whatsoever A Man Soweth". But be careful! You get to only the opportunity, if you do decide to help Olgierd von Everec. In the following field you keep left. There you will find behind a big Spectre a crumbling stone staircase. Climb up it and pull the Viper Silver Sword from the local rock.
Required Materials to Craft Vipers Armor Set:
To craft, the individual pieces of the Viper school armor, you need at least the services of blacksmiths. They can be found for example in the Hierarch Square in Novigrad or Crow's Perch in Velen. Or you go to the same master blacksmith for weapons or for armor. For each item requires the following materials.

Armor values and resistances
The Vipers-Armor is a medium armor and has a level requirement of 39 (Lv 69 in New Game Plus). It has the highest rating of all armor sets in the game and gives you very high bonuses to your resistance.
