Fallout 4: cheat codes for God Mode, new weapons and items

Updated

Fallout 4 offers a vast and immersive post-apocalyptic world, but sometimes you might want a little extra help or just want to experiment. That's where console commands come in. These commands, accessible on PC, allow you to enable God Mode, spawn items, acquire powerful weapons, and much more.

Important: These commands work exclusively on the PC version of Fallout 4. To access the console, press the ~ (tilde) key. Be aware that using console commands can disable achievements in some cases.

General Console Commands

These commands offer a variety of effects, from toggling AI to changing the game's timescale:

  • tgm: Activates God Mode. Grants invincibility, infinite ammo, and infinite Action Points (AP).
  • tmm 1: Reveals all locations on the world map. Use tmm 0 to revert.
  • unlock: Unlocks the targeted door, container, or terminal.
  • kill: Kills the selected target (NPC or creature).
  • killall: Kills all NPCs and creatures in the immediate vicinity. Use with caution!
  • tai: Toggles the AI of the selected NPC on or off.
  • tcai: Toggles combat AI of the selected NPC on or off.
  • tcl: Toggles collision. Allows you to walk through walls and objects.
  • tfc: Enables free camera mode. Allows you to move the camera independently of your character.
  • player.additem [item code] [quantity]: Adds the specified item to your inventory. You'll need the item's ID code (see tables below). You can add a quantity after the item code. For example, player.additem 0000000F 100 adds 100 Bottle Caps.
  • player.placeatme [item code]: Spawns the specified item or NPC at your location.
  • resurrect: Resurrects the selected NPC.
  • setgs fJumpHeightMin [number]: Changes your jump height. Experiment with different values.
  • player.setav speedmult [number]: Multiplies your movement speed. A value of 2 doubles your speed, for example.
  • tm: Toggles the HUD (Heads-Up Display) on or off, useful for taking screenshots.
  • setScale [number from 1 to 10]: Changes the size of the selected object.
  • sexchange: Changes your character's gender.
  • coc qasmoke: Teleports you to a testing cell containing almost every item in the game. Be warned, this area can be resource-intensive.
  • set timescale to [number]: Adjusts the game's time speed. 1 is paused, 16 is normal, higher values speed up time.
  • tdetect: Toggles AI detection. When off, NPCs cannot detect you.
  • player.modav [skill] [value]: Increases the specified skill by the given value. For example, player.modav strength 10 adds 10 to your Strength.
  • player.setlevel [number]: Sets your character's level.
  • caqs: Completes the main questline. Use with extreme caution as it skips significant portions of the game.
