Google Stadia (GS) has introduced a free internet speed test tool that will check your connection speed and let you know if your internet speed is optimal or not to use this service.
GS recommend a speed of at least 10 Mbps to play with Stadia at 720p. If you want to make sure that you have a sufficient internet speed to acquire this service, you can make the test available on the Google page to be 100% safe before jumping into the subscription plan.
You can use a Wi-Fi connection or a connection via Ethernet cable. They also comment that it is advisable to have a stable connection, so they recommend not having active downloads, sharing files, using streaming services or other activities that consume a lot of bandwidth while you are performing the test.
