After climbing to level 6 in Harry Potter Wizards Unite (HPWU), you’ll get a chance to pick one of the three professions: Auror, Magizoologist or Professor.
- Auror: He is described by his offensive abilities and can do a considerable damage. However, his defense is rather weak. Especially, effective is in the fight against dark forces. For example, Harry Potter is a classic Auror.
- Magizoologist: He has a very good defense and strong healing magic. However, he is offensively not so effective. For this, the Magizoologist is particularly useful in the fight against beasts. A good example of a typical Magizoologist is Hagrid.
- Professor: He is a real all-rounder, thanks to his balanced attack and defense values, and even masters weak healing spells. But since none of his values really stand out, he is neither strong like the Auror nor a good defender like the Magizoologist.
Which Class / Profession Should I Pick?
If you want to play "Harry Potter Wizards Unite" mostly alone, the Auror is the one for you. Thanks to his strong magic, he is fine on his own and he does not provide any support for his teammates anyway. If you want to give it out properly, you are in the right place with the Auror.
Thanks to his balanced values, the professor can be played both solo and in a group. Who likes to play balanced characters and support his team members in the fight for fortresses, does not do anything wrong with this profession.
But if you're a real team player who likes to take care of your fellow campaigners, you'll be happy with the Magizoologist. Above all, he cares about the well-being of the group. So, if you play with friends around fortresses, then the magician is the right profession for you.
Change Your Profession in HPWU?
If you want to change your Profession in HPWU, you can change it at any time. However, the change has one disadvantage: The different professions have different skill trees whose skills are unlocked with scrolls and magic books. If you change your profession, you start at the new skill tree again at the very beginning. So progress will not be taken over.
