Google has revealed that the Stadia users can change their Username, Online ID or Gamertag at anytime.
According to Stadia, all users will be able to change their Usernames whenever they want. However, we still don’t know how much this service will cost or whether it’s going to support duplicate names; practice allowed on platforms like Discord and recently on Xbox.
PSN banned the name change by users until April of this year. A free name change is allowed for each user, but if you want to change again then it’ll cost you, if you are a PlayStation Plus member.
Gradually Google is revealing more information about Stadia. We know that it is not a platform, but a service that works on Chromecast and any system with Chrome.
Stadia will be launched next November, at a monthly price of $9.99. Although, hardware requirements are minimal, if we want to be among the first to try this service then you’ll have to do with the Founder Edition of Google Stadia.
In order to access the free service, Stadia Base, you’ll have to wait until 2020, forcing in this first phase to use the payment service (which gives access to a selection of free games, discounts and other advantages).
