Ant-Man 3 is finally happening as the sequel finds its director. Peyton Reed, who directed the previous installments, confirmed his return as director. At the moment, there aren't any plot details and very few details are known about the Marvel’s new project.
In a recent interview with Collider, Michael Douglas has confirmed that he will return to reprise his role as Hank Pym and showed his enthusiasm for the sequel. "The Marvel world has been a rush! I love it and I'm having a great time," said the actor. "We are starting a third Ant-Man movie by the beginning of January 2021."
Thus, it seems that the filming of Ant-Man 3 will begin in early 2021. Meanwhile, we’ll have to wait until more details are given about the plot and exactly when it will be released in theaters.
