In this guide, we’ll show you how to fix lag while playing the Among Us mobile (iOS) version of the game.
First of all while in-game you should make sure to use a server which is closest to you. Next, make sure that you're using a reliable network connection. If you're using a Wi-Fi connection then change it to mobile data. If possible and if your mobile connection seems to induce lag then change it to Wi-Fi. If you prefer to use a Wi-Fi connection then restart your router or modem, if you haven't done this in a while and reduce the amount of devices using the same network connection.
Next open up your native settings application, here navigate to general and then background app refresh. I would suggest disabling this option while playing Among Us in order to fully utilize your network connection. You should also close applications from running in the background to improve your gaming experience.
Lastly, make sure to disable any VPN apps from running as these can increase lags.
