Best Settings to Run PSO2 New Genesis On PC, Increase FPS

In this guide, we’ll show you the best settings to run Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2) New Genesis smoothly on PC and also we’ll show you how to increase your FPS and boost performance.

First, make sure that the Game Mode is On

Xbox Game Bar - Off

I don't recommend any Overlay, like Discord Overlay and the overlaying video.

Background Recording - Off

Recorded Audio - Off

Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling - On

Next, make sure that your graphic driver is up-to-date.

Next, make sure that your Windows energy profile is at balance or performance.

Next, open up your video card settings (Nvidia control panel) go to Manage 3D Setting - scroll down - Power Management Mode. Here, I recommend Maximum Performance. It's always better to make sure that you're using 100% of your computer.

Now, we’ll go inside of the game.

Let’s open the Graphics option.

Effect Light Source and Terrain Lightning - Off

Camera Lighting - 0

3D Rendering Resolution - High (Standard)

Automatic Resolution Adjustment - Off

Maximum Frame Rate - Lock it with the amount of earth on your monitor.

Texture Filtering and Texture Resolution - this one really depends on your Vram on your video card. So if you have 4 GB and more you can definitely play Anisotropy 16 and High, if you have 3GB and you can play at Anisotropy 8 and Middle, if you have 2GB go something with Low and 4x or Trilinear and if you have less than 2GB then just put everything at minimum.

Terrain Draw Distance - here, I recommend you to use something like between 2 or 3.
