Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has introduced new turrets to the Battle Royale. This isn't the first time that they have been in the game, but these are much more capable. Before it was only used for firing. Now, they will have two uses: allowing you to gain height (by deploying your glider or not) and inflicting damage by sending projectiles.
The new turrets have two functionalities, it depends on what you want to do:
- Inflict damage on your opponents by sending projectiles through the turret
- Gain height by being sent into the air by the turret, while deploying or not your glider
The small peculiarity is the following: by gaining height thanks to the turret, you are not obliged to use your glider.
