Fix Destiny 2 Lightfall won’t run or connect on Xbox

Some Destiny 2 Lightfall players on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are having issues connecting to the game. The developer is currently working on a fix, however in the meantime they have released a temporary fix.

 

Exit Destiny 2 if running

 

Select the Destiny 2 file

 

Press the Menu button

 

Select “Manage games and additional content”

 

Select Destiny 2

Disable the following expansions:

 

Destiny 2 Forsaken - Dark Arsenal

 

Destiny 2 Forsaken - Jokers

 

Destiny 2 Forsaken - Penumbra

Destiny 2 Forsaken Annual Pass

 

Expansion 1 Curse of Osiris

 

Expansion 2 The Warmind

 

Select "Save Changes"

 

Add-ons will be uninstalled from the queue screen

 

Launch Destiny 2
