Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 8.5 will be available on March 22, and it will ad new champions and bring some changes to traits. Here, we’ll show the changes to the classes and origins of this Set.
Disappearing Classes and Origins (Three traits are removed with Set 8.5): Arsenal, Recon and Civilian
The new classes and origins of Set 8.5 of TFT:
Riftwalker: (3) The Riftwalkers open a rift between dimensions and summon their ally, Zac, who gains power according to the level of the Riftwalkers. Zac gains the last listed trait of the nearest Riftwalker.
InfiniTeam: (3 / 5 / 7) 1 / 2 / 2 portals appear on the ground. At the start of the fight, any champion placed in a portal summons an alternate version of themselves with 40%/55%/90% health and damage dealt and different items, one for each augment you have.
QuickDraw: (2 / 3 / 4 ) Every two projectiles coming from skills, the Quickdraws shoot an additional projectile. This shot deals 60%/100%/140% damage.
Parallel: (2) Ezreal Underground's spell becomes an explosion that hits all enemies in a line. The Ultimate Ezreal spell summons two additional Ezreals.
Trait rework in TFT set 8.5
Some traits are going to be changed for the mid-set. Four of them are affected: Ox Force, Project, Hacker and Sureshot.
Ox Force Changes: 2 / 4 / 6 Ox Force units receive a defensive bonus of 20 / 50 / 125 Armor and RM. Once per fight, instead of dying, they are invulnerable for 1 second.
Project Changes: 3 / 5 / 7 When a drone pilot is attacked, the drone deals 25 / 25 and units have an additional drone / 40 magic damage to the pilot's target (0.4 second cooldown). When a pilot dies, their drone is reassigned to another pilot.
Hacker changes: 2 / 3 / 4 Hackers gain 15% / 30% + 10% rider / 50% + 20% omnivamp rider and summon H4ckerr!m. Anyone placed in the Cavalier box will be sent into the enemy back lines and will be untargetable for 2 seconds.
