At the beginning of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, you will be given the opportunity to select a character and you don't have to worry about choosing a character at this point because you will have the option to change characters at any point and nothing will hold you back from your initial selection.
Once you've progressed somewhat beyond the tutorial phase, you'll be able to switch between characters in the game to determine which one you want to focus on. Their movement style and the functionality of their equipment or kit will undoubtedly be given a lot of thought.
Now, each character's movement options greatly influence the kind of play style that works best for them and it's important to note that characters have different abilities that can significantly alter their play style. So it's important to avoid making snap judgments about them when you first start out and progress up their skill tree. For instance, I thought I wanted to main Deadshot but I wasn't fully sure because it seemed like his jetpack ran out of gas quickly so I thought well maybe I'll just play King Shark since I can jump into the air a lot, land quickly, and not have to worry about hovering all the time.
On the other hand, Deadshot gets Active Heatsink at level six, which reduces the pace at which heat builds up in your jetpack by 50%. This completely changed my character; I can now fly and essentially never have to land. I'm just constantly hovering in fights and it's so satisfying.
So, before you completely write off a character, take some time to examine their skill tree and determine whether or not their equipment will truly work for your preferred style of play.
